All volunteers must be at least 14 years of age and must complete a volunteer package as specified by their chosen position/program. [/vc_cta][vc_empty_space height=”45px”][vc_tta_accordion][vc_tta_section title=”Orientation” tab_id=”1504829537986-c6a20627-9af6″][vc_column_text]All volunteers will be required to attend a mandatory volunteer orientation session. The session will prepare you to volunteer at ARTSIDEOUT and will be an opportunity to meet other volunteers. Orientations will be available every single month and will take place at the University of Toronto Scarborough campus.
Final orientation dates for the year:
- Saturday, September 9th, 1-3pm
- Wednesday, September 20th, 5:30-7:30pm

Please refer to the Volunteer Manual to review what type of training is required for your selected role, or refer below. Volunteers are encouraged to pursue learning opportunities by attending training sessions outside of their required training sessions.
Installation 101
Required for: [/vc_column_text][/vc_tta_section][vc_tta_section title=”Volunteer Hours” tab_id=”1504829715902-29a2f1e2-7d39″][vc_column_text]Everybody is welcome to volunteer as many (or as little) hours for ARTSIDEOUT. However, to receive the ARTSIDEOUT Volunteer Certificate, volunteers must complete at least 10 hours of volunteer work.
The Volunteer Hour Log Sheet is found in the Forms page. Ensure that an executive member or a Volunteer Leader signs the form at the beginning and end of your shift.
